The Ice Queen's Winter Palace in Eindhoven

In 2009 Phixion provided the local residence for the Ice Queen and her entourage in Eindhoven during the holidays.  The Ice Queen's winter palace was to be admired on "Standshuisplein" in Eindhoven during "Winter City Eindhoven".

Phixion built her fairytale castle in Eindhoven and gave it for this occasion in a wintry look.  Furthermore, together with the tower house, the large labyrinth and the Ice Queen's decorated rooms in a big tent, Phixion created a real “Ice Queen World”.

The Tower House was painted in the same new colours as the Fairytale Castle and acted as the entrance, where the cash register was installed.  After a stroll through the big maze, the visitor arrived at the palace gate.  A special itinerary guided him through all different rooms of the ice palace.  This way, the visitor walked successively through the mailroom, the elves' study, the little elves' classroom and their locker room, the kitchen, the parlour, the bathroom and the Ice Queen's bedroom.  Upon leaving the bedroom, you entered the ice engine room, where the North Pole's ice is produced. Lastly, the visitor passes the stable with Santa’s reindeers, to arrive at the Ice Queen herself at the end of this magic stroll.

Phixion decorated the numerous rooms (10 altogether!) using several of its theme décors, turning this project - together with the tower house, the fairytale castle and the labyrinth - into a real Phixion Creation showpiece.
